Hem-stitched, these are durable, attractive, richly hued flags. US military flags, including Air Force flags, is just one category in our inventory, but we think it's an important one. We sell only the best flags representing only the best in technological advances of fiber and surface development. Our US Navy flag, for example, displays the kind of detail, even on the miniature version, that comes from a dye process used for the best penetration of fibers. This yields the brilliance and depth of color essential to an inspiring, respectful flag. Another of our military banners is the Korean War Veterans flag, a different shade of blue from the Navy flag but equally brilliant and finely detailed.
Besides the blues of the Korean War Veterans flag and the Navy flag, we carry the finely detailed red and blue on a field of white of the US Army flag and image on a plain of royal blue in the US Air Force flag. These flags have a rich history to match the images emblazoned across them. The Air Force flag shows a coat of arms, the Air Force seal, and thirteen white stars. The stars signify the original colonies, and within this is a group of three white stars caught, as it were, within the spread wings of the eagle. Each of these three stars represents one of the three Departments of Defense, namely, the Army, the Air Force, and the Navy. A cloud lies beyond the American bald eagle, and this represents the new firmament to be created by the contributions of this force. The banner carried forth by troops of the United States Army was officially adopted in 1956. President Dwight D. Eisenhower ordered its adoption, and its symbolism and coloring are distinctive and simple, an effective combination, as any military flag scholar will tell you.
